Corbin Hill Food Project and The New School have teamed up again to offer weekly, flexible produce shares on-campus as part of a socially-driven food justice program!
The New School is more than a drop off point for Corbin Hill farm shares; part of the reason we also have our own drop off is that many New School students, faculty, and staff have participated and continue to participate in the Project. Members of the New School community have been foundational in creating the structures, branding, and infrastructure of Corbin Hill and continue to make up a great deal of the core staff.
We work with farmers from upstate New York and community groups downstate to deliver fresh, local produce to our communities across NYC. We support a food movement that values the community being in the leadership of such a movement, genuine redistribution of food, and community sovereignty. It is our hope that each potential Corbin Hill Shareholder will reflect on their commitment to being part of a larger socially-driven food justice movement that is inclusive across race and income.
Pick-up at 2 West 13th Street on Wednesdays, from 2pm-4:30pm starting Sept. 16th!
