This event will give New School students and alumni an opportunity to network with employers in the green jobs sector – jobs that enhance environmental sustainability, social- and economic justice.

Green employers and representatives from The New School’s Environmental Studies, Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management, Tishman Environment and Design Center, and Career Services will engage in short but intensive discussions with participants about strategies to identify and obtain environmental careers.

This will provide opportunities for New School students to connect with environmental professionals and learn more about how to work toward careers in sustainability and social justice fields. The networking event, open to New School students and alumni, will be followed by a public panel on the state of green jobs and current initiatives to grow the green economy.

This event is sponsored by:

Tishman Environment and Design Center

Career Services, Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy

and is part of Earth Week at The New School.
