Milano PhD, Phillip Plotch, has just published his first book, Politics Across the Hudson: The Tappan Zee Megaproject through Rutgers University Press.The book looks at the history of inaction and inertia in public planning; contrasted with the very active Robert Moses (and Governor Andrew Cuomo) approach of minimal transparency and closed-door decision making. Throughout his research he has interviewed more than a hundred key players, and accessed countless internal government documents.
