Since the Government of the Russian Federation initiated strikes in Syria, Professor of International Affairs Nina Khrushcheva has stayed quite busy providing her expertise on Russian politics to major news networks. We sat down with her to ask what has been missing from the media’s narrative about Russia’s strategy in Syria. She also gave her perspective on what all International Affairs students should know about U.S.-Russia relations, and how they have impacted the Syrian conflict.
