The Development concentration has a focus on the conceptualization and implementation of development processes, poverty, inequality, decision support mechanisms, project and knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation, social development planning, global political processes, local practices, human rights, health and education.
This concentration is designed for students who wish to develop a professional or academic interest in the global challenges of development, inequality, and poverty. The concentration focuses on concepts, measurement tools, and policy alternatives.
