What is the “Black Diaspora”? Who does it include or exclude? How is Blackness experienced on a global level? How do these different perspectives inform the identity-making process?

Join the Milano School in a discussion of these and other topics relating to Black History around the world. This event will include a facilitated discussion for New School students and faculty, during which we will examine the role of class, gender, colorism and other issues affecting the global black community.

This event is part of the Black History Month series sponsored by The Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy.
