The Office of Social Justice Initiatives is excited to announce that the 3rd Annual Social Justice Leadership Retreat will take place from August 23-25, 2013 at the YMCA/Greenkill Retreat Center in Huguenot, New York. The retreat is open to all returning and new students, but space is limited so apply now!The retreat will consist of 2 1/2 days of activities, discussions and trainings dedicated to community building, shared learning and strengthening social justice organizing and activism on campus. The retreat is free for all participants (food, housing and transportation included). All participants are expected to stay involved in social justice organizing throughout the 2013/14 school year through student-generated projects and activities.Applications are being accepted between now and Friday, July 19, 2013.
